Waterproof Clothing

Have just updated the waterproofing clothing page with a few more details. It seems the jack pyke waterproof clothing set might have been discontinued but will do a further internet search as it was a good quality waterproof suit that had good camouflaging. Because if you visit Jack Pyke 's website it only has waterproof gaiters and waterproof chaps (pictured below) on its waterproof clothing page.

Camouflage Net and what is it used for?

I have added a few notes on what camo net is and what it can be used for which i have shown below:


What is camouflage net for?
Camo net has many uses and not just for camouflaging. You can use it if you are an outdoors person while hunting, shooting or fishing for example. Many animals will see you and will run or hide or avoid you which is not what you want if you are waiting for them and need them to come close to you. Camouflage yourself behind a net is equally important if you are wildlife photographer too.
You can use it to hide ugly features in your garden or factory. Drape it over an ugly wall to make your garden more green and less harsh
Camo net can be used in a bedroom to make a military or jungle theme for your army mad child or grown up!
Use a camouflage net in creating a scene for a play in the theatre.
In the army camo net is used to conceal locations, to conceal military vehicles, equipment and personnel.

With reference to wikipedia the law as it stands on the legality of airsoft guns as of 2017 is:

"According to Section 36 of the VCRA (Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006) which came into effect on 1 October 2007, RIF's (Realistic Imitation Firearms) may not be sold, imported, or manufactured.[49] Unrealistic imitation firearms (IF's) must have their principle color as transparent, bright red, bright orange, bright yellow, bright blue, bright green, bright pink, or bright purple or have dimensions of no more than a height of 38 millimetres and a length of 70 millimetres (as defined in the Home Office regulations for the VCRA). Exceptions to the act are available for the following:

a museum or gallery
theatrical performances and rehearsals of such performances
the production of films and television programs
the organisation and holding of historical re-enactments crown servants.[50]

The notes for the VCRA state the following: "The regulations provide for two new defenses. The first is for the organisation and holding of airsoft skirmishing. This is defined by reference to "permitted activities" and the defence applies only where third party liability insurance is held in respect of the activities." and "The defence for airsoft skirmishing can apply to individual players because their purchase of realistic imitation firearms for this purpose is considered part of the "holding" of a skirmishing event."

It is best to check the latest laws to see the legality of purchasing airsoft guns for playing airsoft sports.
