HAND WARMER - Military Kit Outdoor Clothing Survival Kit Got the full instructions for how these solid fuel hand warmers work?

This is for Highlander's Solid Fuel Hand Warmer pack version CS050.

Instructions for hand warmer use:
1. Press the catch of the hand warmer to open it.
Remove the foil wrapping of a solid fuel stick and light one end with a match or cigarette lighter.
Then blow gently on it and allow to burnd down about half an inch.
2. Holding it at its unlit hend, place the lighted fuel stick in the warmer case and closed the lid, ensuring that the spring clip ahs fully closed the two parts of the hand warmer.

3. To intensify the heat output, the fuel rod may be lit at both ends but this will nearly halve the burning time.
If the warmer gets too hot, take it out of your picket for a while to allow air temperature to cool it down. But do not open it.
4. When not in use, the lighted fuel stick inside should be taken out and extinguished. If you must open the hand warmer when hot for this purpose, excercise extreme care and do so only on a level fireproof surface.

Assume these are kept in the pocket of your jacket or trousers?

CAUTION: These fuel rods can become very hot in use.
For adult use only. Not for children.
Do not use near flammable materials.
Do not handle fuel rods when lit or hot.
Open warmer only when cool.
Open warmer horizontally, beware hot ashes.

Common sense required, do not burn yourself.

Airsoft Guns: Is it really true that in 2010 boys aren't allowed to play cowboys and indians or cops and robbers anymore with toy guns and bows and arrows? Admittedly the boys were older in the news article above but are we also afraid of teenagers? Is it ridiculous that airsoft guns or bb guns as they are also known create such panic.

Kids in the 1970s had great fun with the cap guns for example.

Is the next step to censor all film and tv programmes with anything that even looks like a gun shaped object.

You can buy brightly coloured or clear airsoft guns still but why bother trying to play outdoors these days, just go indoors and play xbox shoot em ups.

Modern airsoft guns dont always fire the extra dangerous sounding metal "ball bearings". They most often shoot brightly coloured plastic pellets aka bb gun ammo.

An armed response is not necessary but common sense is.

To the western world and in military use the British SAS (Special Air Service) discovered the Shemaghs potential when operating in northern Africa's deserts during the WW2. It has been a popular and valuable piece of the SAS soldiers equipment ever since and have spread from there.

The Shemagh (also known as an arab scarf or palestinian shemagh other names also see wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keffiyeh) was originally used for protection against hostile desert conditions, providing protection from the wind, sun, sandstorms and low night time temperatures.

Next to a soldier's rifle, knife and boots, the Shemagh, may probably be one of the most useful pieces of equipment he or she can have.

A Shemagh scarf is a square cotton cloth, a woven scarf of about 110cm x 110cm in size.

Especially since becoming fashionable it is generally available in a massive choice of colour combinations from pink to bright orange as well as the traditional colours; red/white, black/white, black/green, sand/black).

When used as originally intended (as a head wrap) Shemaghs are very comfortable.

What is a shemagh used for? Examples:

as a head wrap - for keeping sun or snow, wind, sand and dust - out of eyes, face and neck
as a face veil - concealing the face
as a scarf worn around the neck - retaining heat in the cold and absorbing sweat/protects the neck in hot / sunny conditions

A good watch at the cinema is the new 2010 A-team film for those of us old enough to remember the original A-team from the 1980s.
We particularly enjoyed seeing our products worn and you could buy these to make a good fancy dress outfit on the A-team theme.

Just had a quick search to see the easiest method of adding multiple images to whipperleys ebay shop listings at low cost. Have signed up with www.auctionpix.co.uk which says: AuctionPix is a popular website for FREE eBay image, picture and photo hosting, it has provided an eBay image hosting service since 1999.

Although your free account only gives a months worth of image hosting we believe. But i was able to quickly upload and insert 3 images on my survival whistle ebay buy it now auction.

We could use our own website hosting to host images for free so need to investigate whether auctionpix can do much for especially when a fee becomes payable.

When i am looking for a product on the internet which is available at more than one website, it is often the picture quality that adds to my decision to purchase. Must say big thank you to Ros for inviting Daniel and Liam to Harry's 9th birthday party at www.norwichpaintball.co.uk on Thursday. They did laser skirmish with laser beam guns and had a great time. It also meant Daniel and Liam could wear their kids camo clothing bought from us.

The camo pattern means the kids camouflage trousers, camo tshirts and camo bodywarmers dont show the dirt and are hardwearing coming through the woodland laser skirmish in tact!

We have had our military clothing website http://www.whipperleys.co.uk up and running since 2004 and noticed many of our outdoor clothing and equipment product pictures were looking.. well awful to say the least. Would you buy a product that you wanted if the picture was not up to scratch. Well i wouldnt!

For example: we have some great camo face paint wipes on our face camo cream page which make removing your face paint after manoeuvres or paintball simple and effective. The picture was small and unappealing. So has now been changed. Took only a few minutes but well worth doing.

Many more to check and replace!
